Good chew benefits but dog doesn't like

I purchased these chews for my mini schnauzer as they are VOHC recommended and recommended by my vet. I had high hopes for these, but my dog just doesn't like these as much :( She likes to carry around the house, but doesn't show much interest in chewing them. I would still definitely recommend to others as they are vet and VOHC approved. I would give high stars for those ratings alone, but it's not our pup's favorite.
Better rawhide option

These chews are a much better option than rawhide bones which have the potential for large chunks to be swallowed therefore causing blockages and my dogs love them I give them once a week for a supervised teeth cleaning treat and it keeps them busy for a while

Great dog treats helps clean teeth and keeps then entertained for at least an hour (Belgian Malinois) I can cut one in half for my lil Dachshund lasts him about 3 hours. STAINS CARPETS, has a kind of sticky texture when brand new that can transfer to floors or carpet during chewing. Use caution !!
Disappointed in the number of chews

The chews work well dental-wise but there is only 8 chews in a box with no option to order a bigger box. Directions say 2 chews a day, so that is 4 days of chews? I give mine one every once in awhile and Greenies otherwise I would have to keep 50 boxes of these around

My vet recommended these to help keep our lab's teeth free of plaque. They were hard to find online, so I was purchasing from the vet's office. I found them on chewy, and now they are part of the monthly auto ship. Great product for healthy plaque-free teeth!
Dog loves them but HUGE, unbreakable, and expensive

My dog loves these. But I agree with others' criticism: not only are they (mostly) huge, but they are impossible fto break into smaller pieces. It feels like it would take a hacksaw! Because of this, they wind up being very expensive. (Having said that: there is a wide variation in size, which is in itself a problem). I can't imagine giving two per day, as the label recommends. I will look elsewhere for dental chews to actually use for his oral health and use these only to keep him occupied when I need to. A big one can take my dog almost an hour to get through. I wish Purina would provide these in regular, much smaller pieces, because I really like them.

I have two lab and they would not touch this item. Not sure what it is but they took it but spit it out and they eat anything.
Misinformation on chewy nutritional content

Dogs loved these but chews website said they had 42 calories and the box says 85. Very disappointing since we're on a strict diet. This isn't the 1st item the nutritional content is inaccurate on chews site. Best to check the product in label yourself
