Youtube Keeps Pausing on Its Own and Asks if I Want to Continue

I have a ZTE Blade phone and it keeps pausing on YouTube videos

For some reason I read somewhere that this occurred while the phone was sending data, however, ZTE is not the best with its equipment its a solid phone and reliable but over time breaks down.

Sending data, like the phone sending Google info? I've been having the same issue. Galaxy s7, my connection is great, my phones in working order. Yet, the video keeps pausing. It's not buffering like a lot of other people say. My video still occasionally buffers & the loading "wheel" is there. With this its like some unknown invisible source pauses the video.

I'm getting the same damn thing on a galaxy s8+. Any time I switch from youtube, it is pausing. I have YouTube red and it does the popup player when I switch apps. NORMALLY, it isn't a problem, but in the last week, it has been a huge pain.
